Greenlight Advisors Welcomes City of Louisville Golf Courses to GolfClubBenchmarks.com

August 13, 2025

Greenlight Advisors, developer of GolfClubBenchmarks.com, is pleased to welcome Louisville Golf’s ten courses to its expanding membership list of golf courses. Owned and operated by Louisville Parks and Recreation Department, Louisville Golf joins Palm Beach County, San Antonio, Tacoma Parks, Salt Lake City, and hundreds of other participating courses across the country.

By joining GolfClubBenchmarks.com, the Louisville Golf courses will now have online access to benchmark their courses’ financial and operational data (40 financial metrics and 20 operational metrics) and compare their results to regional and national averages. GolfClubBenchmarks.com’s service uses simple-to-read traffic lighting to allow course managers to measure their course’s performance with their peers, and if necessary, take steps to improve performance.

"The City of Louisville is thrilled to join Greenlight Advisors Golf Club Benchmarks service,” said Nathan Maiwald, Assistant Director of Louisville Parks and Recreation. “This will help elevate the business operations of our courses and teach us where we can improve efficiencies and optimize growth opportunities. It will serve the game of golf in Louisville for all golfers.”

“We are grateful to welcome Louisville Golf and their ten public golf courses to GolfClubBenchmarks.com. In addition, we are grateful to Mr. Nathan Maiwald for his participation in our services,” said Michael Suglich, CPA, President at Greenlight Advisors. “We believe our golf club benchmark service will help Louisville Golf’s management team identify and leverage our best-in-class financial and operational golf metrics to guide Louisville Golf to continued and future success.”

Greenlight Advisors pioneered benchmarking for municipal golf course operators when they successfully gathered data from hundreds of municipal golf courses across the United States and published the “2024 Municipal Golf Study and Ongoing Benchmark Report”. “We pride ourselves on empowering golf course operators to make informed decisions through a critical analysis of their data, helping them easily identify areas for improvement, and enhancing service delivery to their communities,” said Mike Suglich, CEO at Greenlight Advisors. The results of the study were shared with all participating courses from across the country. The study produced five regional and one national best-in-class results for each course to compare their financial and operational performance.
